The stone-fronted gas fireplace in the living room is a popular feature on chilly evenings. A model ship graces the rough-hewn mantle, in keeping with the nautical theme of Harbor House.
The dining room at Harbor House has a large mahogany table that can be expanded with it's internal leaf to comfortably seat eight people for dinner or for those family evening games.
The summer reading porch is stocked with books and comfortable chairs, ready and waiting for someone to curl up with a good story.
The remodeled kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, and disposal, has plenty of room for fixing meals or snacks.
The Regatta Room, featuring sail boats in its decor, is the largest of the three bedrooms. It has a queen bed flanked by brass-colored reading lamps and a TV for late-night viewing.
The Chart Room, with a single bed, is the smallest of Harbor House's three bedrooms. But it is paneled in real knotty pine, and because it is so cozy, it's a favorite with kids.
The Golden Pond Room contains a full-size bed and is decorated in pinks and greens, with copies of Impressionist paintings that center on water themes.
A sliding glass door opens onto the rear deck for easy access to the barbecue grill in summer. The enclosed back room, which houses the washer and dryer, is heated and provides a comfortable spot for bird watching during spring, fall, and winter.
